By organizing Shabbatons, we help young people to experiment the Shabbat. Year after year we have more student who keep Shabbat and Kashrut. B”H we will continue our action in the future.
Rabbi David Keleti is leading the Lativ Foundation in Budapest, Hungary. The Lativ kolel has two mean study form. First, twice a week there is a study in the evening. Second, from 2013 we have our own daily kolel. Rabbi Keleti is teaching both of the programmes. The Lativ kolel organize Kabalat Shabbat once a month and we keep all festivals together. We organizing Shabbatons in Hungary once or twice a year. Rabbi Keleti is travelling lot to foundraising.
Rabbi David Keleti was born in Debrecen, Hungary. When he was 8 the Keleti family left Hungary and made Aliyah. In Israel he became a rabbi, he studied at Mir Jesiva. In 2007 he came back to Hungary and established the Lativ Foundation to help Young Hungarian Jews to explore there’s origin and religion
