A Shabbaton allows the members of a community to be more involved, to have a significant exchange with the Rabbi and other community members and to learn more about specific Jewish topics.
In order to allow a better distribution of its resources, Hulya may support one Shabbaton per Rabbi of a community per year during three years. After three years of support, the Rabbi will have to wait three years to apply again.
The renewal of the Hulya support from one year to another subsequent year is not automatic, and is conditioned by the submission of an activity report and by the Board’s agreement.
Hulya subsidies only Shabbatonim which include at least two nights outdoors.
